ABOUT C.A.R.E. CLINIC

We are two licensed clinical psychologists who specialize in psychological and neuropsychological testing with children, adolescents and young adults. We are passionate about conducting evaluations that guide families towards a greater understanding of their child, with precise and practical reports that provide a roadmap for effective solutions. All of our evaluations are individualized to fully assess a child’s unique strengths and challenges.

Common areas we assess for include ADHD, specific learning disabilities, giftedness, neurocognitive differences, developmental delays/autism and emotional or behavioral challenges. We often look at a child’s cognitive profile, academic and learning abilities, personality, behaviors, developmental trajectory and psychological factors. All of our psychological assessments are administered, scored and interpreted by licensed psychologists. Our thoughtful, detailed reports are able to be shared with any collaborating individuals of your choosing, such as teachers, school staff and other professionals working with your child.

We also offer abbreviated evaluations for specific concerns, such as an IQ test for private school applications, or a focused ADHD assessment, when appropriate. We appreciate and are familiar with the complexity of children with multiple diagnoses, 2E individuals, neurodiversity, areas of difference and disability documentation necessary for standardized testing (e.g. the SAT).

In addition to testing and evaluations, we also provide ongoing therapy for parents to support challenging emotions and behaviors occurring in the home. We use evidence-based techniques to create positive change, while providing a supportive environment to process the difficult phases of parenting.
